Chandrika Soap was formulated after several years of research based on India's traditional system of medicine, dating back at least 4,000 years, known as Ayurveda (Science of Life), which aims to promote perfect health by ensuring balance in all aspects of life.
Chandrika Ayurvedic soap contains no animal products, and is not tested on animals. Some of the herbs and oils used in this soap are:
Coconut oil: Nourishes, moisturizes and lightens skin tan.
Wild Ginger: Soothes the skin and helps prevent infections and rashes
Lime peel oil: Refreshes and cools, has a penetrating lather and an astringent action
Hydnocarpus oil: prevents skin problems, outbreaks and rashes
Orange oil: Tightens pores, helps prevent pimples and blackheads
Sandal wood oil: Cools, refreshes, and gently perfumes the skin
